The Little Horses (žirgeliai in Lithuanian) hat features both representational and symbolic motifs. Horses were dearly loved in Lithuania, and in general were associated with the harvest or war. In folksongs, the horse was often a confidant to a young man who rode out to visit his love. Find out more in the blog post.
